The number of students who come here to do science but can neither understand nor communicate their ideas... It is a terrible waste of time and money. I am not fond of standardized testing, but on the other hand, the GRE score IS among others, a good predictor of success in grad school. If nothing else, attitudes of taking tests seriously would be helpful when you come to this country. don't write things off just because you don't understand their purpose, is all I'm trying to say.
